Painting Process:

  • Surrounding areas will be covered and protected

  • Hardware will be removed and reinstalled after painting

  • Doors and Drawers will be transferred to Steadfast’s Shop to be sprayed

  • All surfaces are scuff sanded to remove imperfections and allow for proper adhesion of products being used

  • All surfaces will be cleaned and wiped with tack cloth to remove dust and debris

  • Primer will be applied if the cabinets are currently stained and varnished, changing color drastically or if the current product on the surface is unknown. This ensures proper adhesion and complete color coverage of the new color.

  • Two coats of Ilva Polyurethane 2k in 20 or 30 sheen will be applied. This will leave a smooth durable finish.

  • Once cured doors and drawers will be transported back to your home and reinstalled

*Surfaces to be included on cabinets are all visible faces of cabinet boxes and both sides of doors and drawer faces. Shelves and bottoms of drawers will not be finished. Fill and drill for new hinge hardware is not included. Grain filler is not included.
